General provisions
Career Desk is a platform for job search, job posting, resume creation and interaction between candidates and employers.
Use of the site indicates the user's agreement to these Terms of Use. Before registering, creating a resume, posting vacancies or using other functions of the platform, the user must familiarize himself with these rules.
The Terms apply to candidates, employers, site visitors and others using the public or private features of the Career Desk.
Who can use the platform
The platform is available to candidates, employers and site visitors. Some functions can be accessed without authorization, but some actions require registration or logging into an account.
- candidates can view jobs, create resumes, save jobs and send feedback;
- employers can create a company profile, post jobs, view resumes, receive feedback, save candidates, and offer jobs;
- visitors without authorization can view public pages, if access to them is not restricted;
- some actions are available only after registration and login.
Account
The user is responsible for the authenticity of the data that he adds to the account, profile, resume, vacancies or other sections of the platform.
The user is responsible for maintaining access to his account and must not transfer the login, password or other means of access to third parties if this violates the rules of the platform or creates risks for other users.
The administration may limit access to the account in case of violation of rules, suspicious activity or actions that may harm the operation of the platform. The user can log out of the account using the "Logout" button.
Candidate's resume and profile
A candidate can create and edit a resume, add information about experience, education, skills, desired work, languages and other data that help employers assess the candidate's relevance.
The candidate is responsible for the relevance and truthfulness of the information in the profile and resume. Public resumes can be displayed in the resume list for employers according to access settings and platform logic.
The candidate can hide or delete their resumes, if such a function is provided by the platform.
Vacancies and employer profile
The employer is responsible for the accuracy of information about the company, vacancies, working conditions, requirements for candidates, salary, contacts and other data published on the platform.
Vacancies must contain real working conditions and must not mislead users. It is forbidden to post jobs that violate the law, user rights or platform rules.
The administration can hide or delete vacancies that violate the rules. The employer can edit, hide, update or delete vacancies in his account, if the corresponding functions are available.
Applications and job offers
The candidate can respond to vacancies. Feedback can be stored in the candidate's history and in the employer's feedback section. The employer can view candidate applications and process them in his office.
The employer can offer the candidate a vacancy through the "Offer a vacancy" function. The candidate can view the proposed vacancies in his profile.
Vacancies and resumes saved
Candidate can save jobs to return to them later. The employer can save the candidate's resume for later review.
Saving a job or resume does not constitute a testimonial, invitation, job offer, or confirmation of interest from another party. A user can delete a saved item from their list.
If a job or resume has become unavailable, hidden or removed, it may be displayed with restrictions or be hidden from the list.
Paid services and accounts
The employer can use paid services or packages, if such functions are available on the platform. Services can be added to the cart, and the order can be completed by online payment or creating an invoice.
A list of purchased services may be displayed in the "Purchased Services" section, and invoices in the "Bills" section. Details of payment, returns, terms of validity of services and special conditions may be governed by separate rules or terms of payment.
Rules of conduct of users
Users must use the platform in good faith, not violate the rights of others and not create risks for the operation of the service.
- post false or misleading information;
- use the site for fraudulent or illegal activities;
- post discriminatory, offensive or illegal content;
- violate the rights of other users;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data;
- use automatic tools if they disrupt the operation of the service.
Moderation and access restrictions
The administration can check job vacancies, resumes, profiles and other content if it is necessary to comply with the rules, the safety of users or the stable operation of the platform.
Material that violates the rules may be hidden, edited or removed. Access to the account may be restricted in case of violations, suspicious activity or improper use of the service.
The user can contact support to clarify the reason for the restriction or the moderation decision.
Limitation of liability
Career Desk provides tools for job search, job posting, resume review and communication between candidates and employers. The platform does not guarantee employment, an invitation to an interview or the selection of a particular candidate by an employer.
Career Desk is not a party to the employment relationship between the candidate and the employer. Users independently verify information, assess risks and make decisions about cooperation, employment or hiring.
Personal data
Processing of users' personal data is described in a separate document "Privacy Policy". The user must familiarize himself with the policy before using the service, creating an account, resume or vacancy.
Privacy PolicyIntellectual property
The design, logo, interface, texts, page structure and other elements of the platform belong to the owner of Career Desk or are used on legal grounds.Users must not copy, reproduce or use elements of the site without permission, if this violates the rights of the owner.
User Content remains associated with the user who added it, but may be displayed on the Platform according to access settings, user role and service functionality.
Changes to the terms of use
Career Desk may update these Terms of Use if platform features, service rules, legal requirements, or approaches to working with users change.
The date of the last update is displayed on the page. Your continued use of the site after the changes are posted means you agree to the updated version of the terms. Important changes may be additionally notified to users.
